Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Mathematics and at LIP we also offer  We encourage our students to engage in every and all forms of subjects and media. Always pushing to inspire their thoughts, goals, dreams, and aspirations. 

Montessori method of education is a system of education for children that seeks to develop natural interests and activities rather than use formal teaching methods. 

Assessments through milestones and goal development with parental involvement. Educational & academic tracking, in addition, to Independent Educational Plan (IEP) goal development. As well as speech & language development.  

Good hygiene and nutrition is highly important. We believe that good eating habits and hygiene start earlier. As a part of our program we offer and implement these skills to our students of all ages. That includes ensuring proper nutrition and food preparation by the staff for the program.

Character Counts is our motto. As we aim to help our learners understand: empathy, accountability, responsibility, and self awareness. The character counts developmental method helps the children understand themselves, others, and their role in their world. In addition, helping to introduce and build a sense of integrity. 

The ability to calm ones self down starts early and we know that a solid foundation of self-regulation is important. Therefore here at LIP we teach behavior management techniques, Relaxation Methods, Self soothing techniques, Peer-to-peer conflict resolution, & Healthy communication. 

Playing inside the playrooms and play areas is important to develop imagination. Furthermore, we place the same level of importance on outside play. Playing outside helps the students to further their imagination. Introducing and encouraging continuous interactions with the outside world as it allows them to get out their pent up energy. In addition, it challenges them to come up with new games and imaginational stories that only being outside can invoke.    

Our future is their world, here at LIP we teach, encourage, a promote green thinking for the students. Not just teaching them about recycling and its importance. We teach them to treat nature with respect. We show them that their actions have repercussion and will/does impact the world around them. Some examples of the projects we done here at LIP would be. Having a student planted garden, caterpillar-butterfly cycle release, and even going to the local parks to help pick up trash and many more.

We happily Supervise, plan and coordinate all outings including but not limited to: Parks, Museums, Aquariums and Zoos, out to the Movies, Science centers. We encourage and promote parent involvement with our community outings. Love that our parents enjoy being chaperones as well. Another aspect of the community outings & engagements is going out to visit and learn about the civil servants in their community. Taking visits to the fire station, the police station, & the State just to name a few.
