Little Important People(LIP) comes from creating positive parent/educator goal setting and development. Providing emotional support and resources to families in need. Creating a true wrap around community service(s) is what was missing. Babies were not thriving and essentially being placed in class' & labeled incorrectly. This being due to lack of exposure to proper & healthy early education. LIP focuses on the whole child & family. The focus is to provide a nourishing holistic environment for all.

Khaalis Jalal

(Pictured Here is LIP's First on Site Educator) A Socio-Cultural Anthropologist Specializing in Early Childhood Education, Urban Anthropology, & The African-American Diaspora. Assisting the students in science, social studies, & first five education. In addition, assisting the Families with domestic violence education, peer-to-peer counseling, & child sexual assualt awareness, training and education.

John Nunn II

(Pictured Here is LIP's Horticultural Teacher) Local Executive Chef of a popular downtown restaurant, Business Owner of Holy Hot's, Farm to Fork Advocate & Horticultural Gardener. This educator helps our students to understand where food comes from, how it affects our body (Inside & Out). Showing them that food comes from hard work, hard work can be fun though! Helping them to grow all types plants for consumption. Creating a sense of pride in the food they grow, eat, and they see out in their community.
